...BODEN ICE LOLLIES...

...i got a call at 2:30pm one day asking if i could make some ice lollies for a shoot the next morning...ummm ok not a problem...they wanted four kinds of ice lolly to represent the different colour groups in their summer collections...boden have such creative people and i just love clever little ideas like this...but back to making ice lollies...because its a shoot you don't need just one or two of each you need as many as possible so you have a variety of visual options and replacements for when they melt under the hot studio lights...right better get to the supermarket...so i had a proper trolly dash selecting different coloured juices, cordials, smoothies, milkshakes, food colouring and fruit so i could give the client options as the different products will all look different when frozen and some might not work and hopefully some will...so i didn't get a lot of sleep and some did not freeze (fizzy drinks must be the bubbles?)...but overall i think the desired effect was achieved...they have added a couple of yellow shop bought lollies in and the solid colour of those looks good with the more detailed homemade ones...these were collected from me at 10am in the morning and then had to be couriered to the other side of london...i love my job...it is so weird...
