some of the table decorations, there were over 35 tables so we made a range of each style, all a little different so they were individual...a lot of mix and match extras on them and plenty of glue-gunning...also a repetitive glue-gunning injury...
...my favorite of all the table decorations were the origami boats, i love the colours of the maps and think the look works really well together...
...this is my favorite beach hut i love the bright yellow and giant fish mounted on the side to match...
...it was a very messy but rather satisfing job to put the moss on the cliffs and lighthouses...ended up with really fluffy green fingers!
...a bit of classic coffee staining and sanding paper for the worn down messages in bottles...
...i spent time researching and learning to tie nets so we could use the glass buoys and then after all of that we realized we could use some netted bags we had...
...beach huts which were originally bird houses, then painted in beautiful pastel tones...
...i spent a fair few hours in a complete daze folding up vintage maps into origami boats...my favorites are the teeny tiny ones...
...i love these lighthouses as they were so clever, made from camping torches which were then painted with seaside stripes....
...mad underwater scenes with oversized lobsters mixed in with sunken shopping trolleys...
...it was quite late in the night when we decided on putting the huge seagulls on top of the beach huts but i think it added a good dose of humour...
...and lastly some shots from the chaos of the work shop...
