...HENRY MOORE EXHIBITION...

lee and i went to see the henry moore exhibition at tate britain the other weekend, lee LOVES him and i went along for the ride...i only managed to take five photos before someone told me off, but there were no signs and i don't see how my camera flash is going to damage rock...it was also smaller than i thought it would be, i really wanted to see some of the huge sculptures but i suppose its difficult uprooting them from yorkshire and getting them to london!


...dog 1922 marble, head 1923 alabaster, snake 1924 marble i loved how chunky and simple this were, quite classic of moore's style but a very different subject than what i had seen before...


... i thought these drawings were gorgeous, it was good to see the sketches and the final pieces and see how they relate to each other...
