...HONEY SPINNING...

my uncle has been keeping bees for three years but this is the first year its started to pay off...HONEY!

...in the hive...no bees of course...


...you have to cut off the top layer of wax so the honey has a chance to escape...


...delicious syrupy honey...


...putting the slats in the spinner...its literally a big cylinder and you have to turn the handle very fast so the g-force forces the honey out of the honeycombs...


...empty honeycombs being taken out...


...it doesn't look like a lot but it is deceptive and also all the honey off the cylinder walls will slide down to join it...


...then the sieving begins...


...you can't rush honey...but the room did smell wonderful
