i had seen this crimson velvet dress in the shop a week before and i thought it was very appropriate for autumn, i found it challenging to create a window that looked unified with stock that is donated and therefore not trend led, i thought the simplest way to do this was to have a male and female window and to create colour schemes or themes...
...there were certain things i had to keep in the window such as christmas cards and diaries as theses sell well at the charity shop...i thought these little ceramic animals added a playful feel...
...i have accidentally deleted my full length photo of the men's window but it had an outdoor countryside feel to it, lots of wool, tweed and leather, i used maps, binoculars and umbrellas as props
